college-level classes on the Aramaic language online and at your own pace.
Our major goal is to make reliable courses available, affordable and accessible to as many people as possible.
You can register at any time, and take the classes at any time you like.
Enrollment can also be purchased as a gift for another individual.

Course Offerings:
An Introduction to Aramaic (ARC101) - Closed for the season
Prerequisites: none.
An Introduction to Aramaic contains a full semester's worth of learning material designed for you to learn at your own pace. Through our virtual classroom you will learn through exposure to original documents, audio pronunciation guides, audio lectures, an extensive vocabulary and grammar building battery, and one-on-one instructor interaction. You may register at any time, and take the classes at any time you like.
Discounts are available for confirmed students of higher education (contact us with your university email address and a picture of your student ID) and group purchases for families, classes, church study groups, and so on.
Cost: $200 for 1 semester of access from date of enrollment.

The Aramaic Lord's Prayer (ARC010)
Prerequisites: None. Designed for the beginner.
This is a specialty 8-week course that was put together at Aramaic Designs for anyone who is interested in learning more about the Lord's Prayer in Jesus' mother tongue, Aramaic. Topics will include:
- What is So Special About the Lord's Prayer?
- A (Brief) History of Aramaic & the Dialect of Jesus
- The Syriac Peshitta Tradition
- Other Syriac Traditions and Their Relations to Each Other
- Scholarly Reconstructions
- Modern Aramaic Traditions
- Odd Translations
- Conclusions, Thoughts & Final Paper

Classical Syriac (SYR101)
Prerequisites: none.
This course will serve as a basic introduction to Classical Syriac Aramaic, a major literary dialect that was prominent between the 2nd and 8th centuries CE, most notably as the vehicle for Syrian Christianity, that stretched as far as China and India. Upon completion, the student will have a firm grasp of Syriac grammar and a sizeable vocabulary.
Cost: $100 for 1 semester (15+ weeks).

Terms of Enrollment:
Before enrolling the following terms apply:
All enrollments must be paid in full first. 10% discount for students is processed at our discretion after proof of enrollment in higher education is received (picture of photo ID, letter of acceptance, etc.). Group discounts are processed after negotiation based on volume.
Class duration indicates the minimum length of time an enrolled student will have access to the materials in that course. This period begins once the student accesses the courseware for the first time. Students may enroll and defer beginning the class for up to 30 days. Extensions will be granted at the sole discretion of the professor, so if anything comes up unexpectedly please communicate it directly to them.
The terms of these classes are subject to change without warning as they are adapted to better suit the needs of both students and professors.
